Chef Mike Hall

Chef Mike is a 1997 graduate of the Philadelphia Restaurant School and received his Bachelor’s degree from Immacualta University. Like most chefs, Chef Mike has worked in many kitchens, since the age of fourteen, in Chester County, Delaware County, and Philadelphia. Most notably he worked as a sous chef for Wyndham Franklin Plaza in center city Philadelphia.

After 20 plus years in the industry Chef Mike and his wife, Shannon, opened Muse Restaurant and Café in 2011. Muse was a farm-to-table restaurant located in Oxford, PA. All products for Muse were sourced from local farms and markets that provided the freshest and most seasonal offer to their customers.

Muse closed in 2013 and Chef Mike turned his attention to writing and blogging for Fig Kennett. He is still currently a food blogger for Fig Kennett and hosts his own blog, Chef’s Muse. In addition to his writing, he caters private dinner parties and functions as a personal chef. Still focused on fresh and local ingredients he is now looking to bring his skills and knowledge to your dinner table.

Chef Mike is happy to provide his clients with menu options that suit their needs. Custom menus and custom menu planning is all part of the package with attention to the details. Fresh is best and keeping with the season he will provide you with meals that will make you feel like you are eating out every night.
