Podcast: Registered Dietician Speaks on New Food Guidelines

Tracy Crane, registered dietician and senior research specialist at the University of Arizona Zuckerman College of Public Health, recently spoke with Jamie DePaulo, senior editor at Breastcancer.org. In addition to discussing obesity, food labels and the benefits of a plant-based diet, Tracy also addresses the new U.S. Department of Agriculture 2015-2020 Dietary Guidelines, including hot topics such as alcohol and red meat. What do the Guidelines mean for women who’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer, as well as women who want to keep their risk of the disease as low as it can be?

Listen to what she had to say.
